- FILM -
I have been involved in filmmaking since I was 9 years old, working with Marcella Ernest (Bad River Band of Chippewa). During this time, I had the opportunity to work on the Bonanza Creek Ranch and screen a short film at the American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco, California. When I was 14 years old, I started taking video production classes offered at my school and started making short films.

My short film, "Exploring Culture in Cuba," documenting my experiences from a trip to Cuba, was screened in the 3rd Annual Pueblo Film Festival (2018) hosted by the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, as well as the 7th Native Cinema Showcase: Future Voices of New Mexico as a part of the SWAIA Indian Market programming (2018).

My passion lies in video editing and I enjoy working on documentary film.
Featured Video: Silent Genocide
My short film, "Silent Genocide: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women | A Crisis Perpetuated by False Representation in the Media," went viral on Facebook and was featured in the Stanford Daily. It was an Official Selection of the 2020 Ancient Way Film Festival in El Morro, New Mexico, where it received an 8.2/10 audience rating.

The film was originally apart of "Amalgamate: An Exhibition of Video Works" which was a collection of short films created by students in a video production class at Stanford University.

My goal with this film was to put raise awareness about the ongoing issue of MMIW. I wanted to put a face to the statistics, because so many of those numbers are too easily brushed to the side. This project is extremely important to me and I hope you enjoy it.
